Fluid Power — With Shiva Rea.  Terrific resource, and definitely a “grow-with-me” DVD.  What’s really neat about it, is that you can either do her preset routines, or use the interactive grid and put together your own routines.

Yoga ShaktiWith Shiva Rea.  Another favorite, and also “grow-with-me”.  Also either preset routines or an interactive grid to build your own.

Lunar Flow — With Shiva Rea.  Some repeats from Yoga Shakti, but also a few new things.  Shorter.  But also with either preset routines or an interactive grid.

Radiant Heart — With Shiva Rea.  Short routine.  No interactive grid, but still a favorite of mine.  However, you can select just one of the routines.

Trance Dance — With Shiva Rea.  Yoga and dancing.  Preset routines or an interactive grid.

Creative Core Abs — With Shiva Rea.  Oof!  But an awesome “oof”!  No interactive grid, but you can select just one to play if you like.

The Shiva Rea DVDs were a gem to find.  I’d been taking yoga at my gym, and wanted more, but didn’t want to join a studio (more expense, and the classes were tough to fit around my schedule).  I stumbled across her at Border’s one afternoon and loved it.  I learned so much from these DVDs, that I can now do yoga routines on my own.


P90X Home Fitness — I haven’t tried this myself, but I’ve heard lots of great things about it.  Like CrossFit and the training I get from my coach, Brad McLeod, it works around “muscle confusion” to keep the body guessing and for you to get continual gains.  Here is a link to the website’s FAQ for more information.

Jillian Michels — I have not tried her DVDs, either — but I do follow her newsletter and she gives great information.  She’s tough, but very down-to-earth and it’s obvious she cares very much about her clients and followers.

Richard Simmons —You know, sometimes you just have to go with the classics.
